What is this practice?
Start at the ● and go straight across inside the path made by two lines. There are no turns. 6 paths on the sheet.
Why this level
Step: Step 3 · Write & Read・Around age 6 and up (guide)
The path is 9mm wide and each one is 130mm long. Only about one pencil line of clearance. A sheet for the stage of looking ahead while the hand moves. With 6 paths, stopping partway still means finishing one of 6.
Ages are only a guide. Children of the same age can do different things, so each card also shows what a child can already do.
The sheet title and the note for grown-ups are printed in English. Words inside the activity itself stay in Japanese or Traditional Chinese.
For grown-ups
- Please don’t correct it when the line goes outside. First just watch whether your child reaches the end.
- Crayons, colored pencils or felt-tip pens are all fine.
- Stop when your child has had enough. There is no need to do them all.
