What is this practice?
Go straight down from top to bottom. The hand works differently than it does going across. 6 paths on the sheet.
Why this level
Step: Step 3 · Write & Read・Around age 6 and up (guide)
The path is 9mm wide and 150mm long. Only about one pencil line of clearance. A sheet for the stage of looking ahead while the hand moves. Going down uses the whole arm, not just the fingertips, so these are made longer than the ones going across.
Ages are only a guide. Children of the same age can do different things, so each card also shows what a child can already do.
The sheet title and the note for grown-ups are printed in English. Words inside the activity itself stay in Japanese or Traditional Chinese.
For grown-ups
- Turning the paper to a comfortable angle is fine.
- Once your child reaches the bottom, the picture at the goal can be colored in.
- There is no need to do them all.
