Why this level

Step: Step 2 · Trace・Around ages 4–5 (guide)

This sheet introduces where familiar foods and materials come from. It uses only four one-answer relationships. Items such as meat or juice, which could come from several sources, are left out. The right column is fully shuffled.

Ages are only a guide. Children of the same age can do different things, so each card also shows what a child can already do.

The sheet title and the note for grown-ups are printed in English. Words inside the activity itself stay in Japanese or Traditional Chinese.

For grown-ups

  • Name the animal first, then compare the pictures on the right one by one.
  • Afterwards, look together at a milk carton or egg box at home.
