What is this practice?
Each row has 4 pictures. Circle the one that does not belong with the others. 4 questions.
Why this level
Step: Step 1 · Grip・Around ages 2–3 (guide)
A step harder than “find the matching one”. All 4 have to be looked at before deciding which is the odd one. Each row has exactly one answer.
Ages are only a guide. Children of the same age can do different things, so each card also shows what a child can already do.
The sheet title and the note for grown-ups are printed in English. Words inside the activity itself stay in Japanese or Traditional Chinese.
For grown-ups
- Asking “what kind is this?” about each one leads to the answer.
- Pointing to answer is fine.
