What is this practice?

Trace along the track from the train on the left to the house on the right. There are 4 tracks.

Why this level

Step: Step 2 · TraceAround ages 4–5 (guide)

Unlike sheets with a path to stay inside, this one is traced along a line. A path has walls; a track does not. Instead, sleepers every 8mm show where to go. Each track is 132mm long.

Ages are only a guide. Children of the same age can do different things, so each card also shows what a child can already do.

The sheet title and the note for grown-ups are printed in English. Words inside the activity itself stay in Japanese or Traditional Chinese.

For grown-ups

  • Start at the train and join it to the house.
  • Counting the sleepers slows the hand down.
  • Please don’t correct going outside the line.
