Circles and rectangles split into equal parts. Write how many of how many are coloured. 6 problems.

Why this level

Step: Grade 2 · Times Tables・Around ages 7–8, Grade 2 (guide)

Equal parts is the whole point of a fraction. Every figure here is split into genuinely equal parts. Count the parts first, then the coloured ones.

Ages are only a guide. Children of the same age can do different things, so each card also shows what a child can already do.

The sheet title and the note for grown-ups are printed in English. Words inside the activity itself stay in Japanese or Traditional Chinese.
