What is this practice?
Plate of Curry Rice, drawn large enough to fill the sheet. The right half of the plate is curry sauce and the left half is rice. The sauce is filled with fine dots so it already looks grey, and about eight chunky pieces sit in it. The rice is left white, with a small heap of pickles at the left edge.
Why this level

The drawing measures 182×107mm. The line weight varies from place to place and the fine detail is kept as it is. The lines are dark enough that a photocopy does not drop them.There is a lot to color, so finishing it over several sittings is fine.
Ages are only a guide. Children of the same age can do different things, so each card also shows what a child can already do.
The sheet title and the note for grown-ups are printed in English. Words inside the activity itself stay in Japanese or Traditional Chinese.
For grown-ups
- Leaving the rice white makes the border with the sauce stand out sharply.
- Crayons or colored pencils both work.
- The colors do not have to match real life.
- There is no need to color all of it.
