What is this practice?
Hydrangea and Snail, drawn large enough to fill the sheet. The round flower head is made of dozens of little four-petalled blossoms. Several big serrated leaves spread out below, and a snail is hiding on one of them. The slanting lines behind are rain.
Why this level

The drawing measures 182×136mm. The line weight varies from place to place and the fine detail is kept as it is. The lines are dark enough that a photocopy does not drop them.There is a lot to color, so finishing it over several sittings is fine.
Ages are only a guide. Children of the same age can do different things, so each card also shows what a child can already do.
The sheet title and the note for grown-ups are printed in English. Words inside the activity itself stay in Japanese or Traditional Chinese.
For grown-ups
- Changing color every few blossoms gives the mottled look a hydrangea really has.
- Crayons or colored pencils both work.
- The colors do not have to match real life.
