What is this practice?
5 sentences each contain one deliberate error. Find it and write the whole sentence correctly. The rule is at the top.
Why this level
Step: Grade 1 · Add & Subtract・Around ages 6–7, Grade 1 (guide)
は reads wa only as a particle. Sound and spelling diverge here, so writing beats memorising a rule. One error per sentence keeps the correction visible.
Ages are only a guide. Children of the same age can do different things, so each card also shows what a child can already do.
The sheet title and the note for grown-ups are printed in English. Words inside the activity itself stay in Japanese or Traditional Chinese.
For grown-ups
- Read it aloud first — the sound is right but the kana is wrong.
- Copy the whole sentence, not just the fixed character.
- Read it aloud again afterwards.
