What is this practice?

Start at the dot on the upper left and find the way to the goal at the lower right.

Why this level

Step: Step 3 · Write & ReadAround age 6 and up (guide)

Unlike the numbered mazes, these have a story and a goal worth reaching. Pictures sit only in dead-end cells so the path stays solvable. Cells are 15.9mm, wide enough for a pencil.

Ages are only a guide. Children of the same age can do different things, so each card also shows what a child can already do.

The sheet title and the note for grown-ups are printed in English. Words inside the activity itself stay in Japanese or Traditional Chinese.

For grown-ups

  • Tracing with the eyes first helps.
  • The pictures in the dead ends are part of the fun.
  • Working backwards from the goal helps when stuck.
