Why this level

Step: Grade 1 · Add & Subtract・Around ages 6–7, Grade 1 (guide)

Three sheets, easiest first. This is the hardest band. Adding nine comes first because nine needs only one more to make ten. All 10 facts in this band are on this one sheet, and no fact repeats on another sheet.

Ages are only a guide. Children of the same age can do different things, so each card also shows what a child can already do.

The sheet title and the note for grown-ups are printed in English. Words inside the activity itself stay in Japanese or Traditional Chinese.
