What is this practice?
A moon viewing (big scene) scene, with several things on one sheet. A rabbit inside the full moon; the dango look fine left white.
Why this level
Step: Step 3 · Write & Read・Around age 6 and up (guide)
The drawing measures 167×222mm. The outline is black lines of even weight only — no shading, no screen tones — dark enough that a photocopy does not drop them. There is a lot to color, so finishing it over several sittings is fine.
Ages are only a guide. Children of the same age can do different things, so each card also shows what a child can already do.
The sheet title and the note for grown-ups are printed in English. Words inside the activity itself stay in Japanese or Traditional Chinese.
For grown-ups
- A dark blue sky makes the moon glow.
- Crayons or colored pencils both work.
- The colors do not have to match real life.
- There is no need to color all of it.
