What is this practice?
Numbers 1 to 5. On each row, trace two faint numbers then write in the three empty boxes.
Why this level
Step: Step 2 · Trace・Around ages 4–5 (guide)
The same 39.5mm boxes as the hiragana sheets. Numbers have fewer strokes than hiragana, so this is a good place to start if hiragana feels hard.
Ages are only a guide. Children of the same age can do different things, so each card also shows what a child can already do.
The sheet title and the note for grown-ups are printed in English. Words inside the activity itself stay in Japanese or Traditional Chinese.
For grown-ups
- Pairing it with a counting game helps a child keep going.
- Writing just “1” over and over is fine.
