What is this practice?
Circle the one of the 4 pictures on the right that matches the one in the box on the left. 4 questions on the sheet.
Why this level
Step: Step 2 · Trace・Around ages 4–5 (guide)
All 4 choices come from the same kind. Because it is “which of these animals”, the ears and tail matter rather than the overall outline.Every question has exactly one answer.
Ages are only a guide. Children of the same age can do different things, so each card also shows what a child can already do.
The sheet title and the note for grown-ups are printed in English. Words inside the activity itself stay in Japanese or Traditional Chinese.
For grown-ups
- Pointing instead of circling is fine.
- Saying the names aloud turns it into vocabulary practice too.
- When unsure, compare each one against the picture on the left.
