What is this practice?

Add a sticker or color a circle each time something is done. What counts as one is for you to decide at home.

Why this level

Step: Step 1 · Grip・Around ages 2–3 (guide)

There are 25 circles. Too many and the end is out of sight; too few and it is over at once. The circles are sized to take a shop-bought sticker.

Ages are only a guide. Children of the same age can do different things, so each card also shows what a child can already do.

The sheet title and the note for grown-ups are printed in English. Words inside the activity itself stay in Japanese or Traditional Chinese.

  • Deciding together what counts as one keeps it going.
  • A filled chart can be put up on the wall.
