What is this practice?

Each box is one group. Count how many in each and how many groups. 6 problems.

Why this level

Step: Grade 2 · Times Tables・Around ages 7–8, Grade 2 (guide)

Multiplication is equal groups. The boxes make "three each, four groups" visible; without them twelve items are just a row.

Ages are only a guide. Children of the same age can do different things, so each card also shows what a child can already do.

The sheet title and the note for grown-ups are printed in English. Words inside the activity itself stay in Japanese or Traditional Chinese.
