What is this practice?
Microwave Oven, drawn large enough to fill the sheet. The inside of the door is blank white; only the turntable is picked out in small dots. The panel on the right has four square buttons and one round dial.
Why this level
Step: Step 2 · Trace・Around ages 4–5 (guide)
The drawing measures 182×111mm. The line weight varies from place to place and the fine detail is kept as it is. The lines are dark enough that a photocopy does not drop them. The areas to color are split into several parts, so it is practice at deciding what goes where while coloring.
Ages are only a guide. Children of the same age can do different things, so each card also shows what a child can already do.
The sheet title and the note for grown-ups are printed in English. Words inside the activity itself stay in Japanese or Traditional Chinese.
For grown-ups
- The inside is empty, so a favorite food can be drawn in to heat up.
- Crayons or colored pencils both work.
- The colors do not have to match real life.
- There is no need to color all of it.
