What is this practice?

Cap, drawn large enough to fill the sheet. The crown is split by seams into three panels, with a wide band running right round below them. The peak sticking out at the front and the little button on top are separate areas too.

Why this level

Step: Step 1 · GripAround ages 2–3 (guide)

The drawing measures 182×210mm. The line weight varies from place to place and the fine detail is kept as it is. The lines are dark enough that a photocopy does not drop them.

Ages are only a guide. Children of the same age can do different things, so each card also shows what a child can already do.

The sheet title and the note for grown-ups are printed in English. Words inside the activity itself stay in Japanese or Traditional Chinese.

For grown-ups

  • Three different colors on the crown panels with a single color on the band pulls it together.
  • Crayons or colored pencils both work.
  • The colors do not have to match real life.
  • There is no need to color all of it.
