What is this practice?

This landscape A4 sheet introduces the stroke order for “ㄢ”. A large numbered model sits beside a picture for “雨傘”, followed by three trace boxes and three blank boxes.

Why this level

Step: Step 2 · Trace・Around ages 4–5 (guide)

The existing one-symbol sheets practise shape but do not show stroke order. This sheet checks all 2 strokes against Taiwan MOE's stroke-order reference, then teaches the starting point and direction before repetition. The glyph is rendered from the OFL Iansui font rather than copied from the MOE animation. Boxes remain 39.5mm, matching the existing series.

Ages are only a guide. Children of the same age can do different things, so each card also shows what a child can already do.

The sheet title and the note for grown-ups are printed in English. Words inside the activity itself stay in Japanese or Traditional Chinese.

For grown-ups

  • Print on A4 in landscape at 100%.
  • Finger-trace the large model first, following the colored numbers.
  • After three pale models, use as many blank boxes as feel comfortable.
