What is this practice?

Look at the five food for ten seconds, fold to hide them, then circle the ones that were there among the eight below.

Why this level

Step: Step 2 · TraceAround ages 4–5 (guide)

Folding the paper is part of the task itself — it cannot be reproduced on a screen. There are 5 pictures to remember and 8 to choose from, with decoys mixed in, so circling everything is not correct. Not a single word appears.

Ages are only a guide. Children of the same age can do different things, so each card also shows what a child can already do.

The sheet title and the note for grown-ups are printed in English. Words inside the activity itself stay in Japanese or Traditional Chinese.

For grown-ups

  • Count the ten seconds for them.
  • A firm crease keeps the top hidden.
  • Open it up afterwards and check together.
