What is this practice?

Start at the ● in the top left and reach the picture at the bottom right. Sheet 5 of the 12×15 medium mazes.

Why this level

Step: Step 2 · TraceAround ages 4–5 (guide)

Each cell is 14.8mm. Narrower than the easy mazes, so the pencil has to get through without touching the walls. There are more junctions and the dead ends run longer. There are 8 mazes at this level because once a maze has been solved the route is remembered and it stops being practice. The path is connected, so the goal is always reachable.

Ages are only a guide. Children of the same age can do different things, so each card also shows what a child can already do.

The sheet title and the note for grown-ups are printed in English. Words inside the activity itself stay in Japanese or Traditional Chinese.

For grown-ups

  • Tracing the route by eye before drawing means less erasing.
  • Please don’t time it. Hurrying means hitting the walls.
